Technology

Our technology is being developed by professional animators for professional animation studios.
Initially the technology we utilize will be proven and showcased through the content we produce as a studio.

Technology has always driven animated content forward and as experienced animators ourselves, we understand that the future of AI is in extending and enhancing the capabilities of the modern animation studio, not replacing it.

For example, even at this early stage we are already seeing better results with 2D character consistency than anything else we have seen in the industry, including tech companies with multi-billion-dollar funding who have been wrestling with this problem for far longer than our small team.

This is in large part due to our utilization of proprietary, very high-quality character training data meticulously hand-crafted by skilled artists the traditional way.
In turn, being able to faithfully recreate a character design in any pose or situation with a simple proxy skeleton or sketch will revolutionize storyboards, layouts, animation-fixing, and dramatically reduce the number of cumbersome, time-consuming, and expensive production issues.

We believe the technology also has other use-cases across the entire production spectrum:

Development
In the Development phase, we believe AI can be readily applied to create concept art, story boards, and ultimately animatics.
The rapid iteration that the development phase demands is an ideal environment to utilize the capabilities that AI provides.

Pre-Production

In pre-production, concept art needs to be transformed into characters, environments, and scene designs and shot lists. AI can serve as a useful bridge here between the development and production processes.

Production

From key frames to in-betweening, the massive amount of work involved in the animation production process can be improved by applying AI technology in an ethical manner that supports the realistic demands of a production schedule.

Post-Production

Post production presents unique challenges as it can range from touch-ups and polish to dramatic changes in scenes and narrative. AI can assist in making these edits efficiently while maintaining the integrity of the work produced so far.
